Field Trip to kanyakumari

We started our journey at 5:30 am from college.Our first stop is Thriparappe Waterfall. As we venture into the verdant forests surrounding the waterfall, get ready to be captivated by its breathtaking beauty. With its cascading waters and picturesque surroundings, the Thriparappe Waterfall promises to be a sensory delight. Next, we make our way to Padmanapuram Palace, a glorious testimony to Kerala's rich history and architectural brilliance. This elegant palace served as the seat of power for the erstwhile rulers of Travancore. As we step inside, be prepared to be transported back in time to an era of grandeur and opulence. Admire the intricate woodwork, ancient murals, and delicate carvings that adorn the palace's interiors. Explore the various sections of the palace, such as the King's Council Chamber, the Royal Treasury, and the Maharaja's bedroom, and learn about the fascinating tales and legends associated with this majestic structure. Our final destination is the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, located on a rocky island off the coast of Kanyakumari. This iconic memorial is a symbol of spirituality and pays homage to the great Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda. Boarding a ferry, we embark on a short journey to the island, where we will be greeted by the awe-inspiring statue of Swami Vivekananda. Situated amidst the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea, it offers a serene and contemplative atmosphere.
